Retrieve access information from your current hosting provider and share it with us via your Client Area or by filling out our migration form. 3. Our team will review your website and prepare a migration plan. 4. We will transfer your files, databases, and, if needed, your email accounts. 5. Once the migration is complete, we test your site and configure your domains to point to Likuid.com. 6. You can test your site, and our team is available for any assistance. 7. Finally, we can also transfer your domain name if you want to centralize all your services with us.
What is included in a migration?
Our service includes everything your website needs to function properly: files, databases, and SSL certificates. Upon request, we can also transfer your email accounts and domains. A single site includes up to 10 GB of files, one database, and up to 5 email accounts.
How long does it take to migrate my site?
Most migrations are completed in less than 24 hours, typically performed at night (between 8:00 PM and 4:00 AM EST) to minimize downtime. Complex migrations may require additional time, but we will keep you informed of the timeline. Domain transfers typically take less than 5 days and do not impact your site’s availability.
How many migrations are included with my plan?
Web and WordPress hosting plans include 1 free migration. Reseller, Cloud, and Dedicated hosting plans include a variable number of migrations depending on the plan: for example, Reseller Starter includes 10 migrations, Cloud Monster includes 60, and Dedicated Enterprise includes 80. Complex migrations may require a prior assessment.
